What is Barrel Plating?
Barrel plating is a dynamic plating method. Parts to be plated are placed inside polypropylene barrels that contain bars that conduct electrical currents. The barrel is filled with the electroplating solution and is slowly rotated causing the parts inside to tumble (cascade). This method provides an even finish for excellent results.

As this method is less labour intensive than rack plating, it provides a cost-effective option for many plating requirements.
